Requirements: AIMMS 4.29 or newer, Centos/RedHat 6.3 (64 bit) compatible or newer. The 32 bit architecture is not supported on Linux.

After downloading the .tar.gz package, you can extract this package anywhere you like, e.g.:

cd ~
tar xvfz aimmssdk-1.4.0.2.tar.gz

Next you should make sure the AIMMS_SDK_HOME environment variable is set, e.g.:

export AIMMS_SDK_HOME=~/aimmssdk-1.4.0.2

When building and running your development applications you should make sure this variable is also set. 

You can set this variable permanently by:

• If you are using bash, ash, ksh or some other Bourne-style shell, you can add export AIMMS_SDK_HOME=~/aimmssdk-1.4.0.2 in your .profile file (${HOME}/.profile). This is the default situation on most unix installations, and in particular on Centos.
• If you've set zsh as your login shell, use ~/.zprofile instead of ~/.profile.
• If you are using tcsh, add setenv AIMMS_SDK_HOME=~/aimmssdk-1.4.0.2 in .login file (${HOME}/.login)
