IDataView Interface

Public Methods

	Name	Description
	createElementValue	Creates an IElement to hold a value. Applies to element valued data only.
	createIterator	Creates an iterator to iterate over the data. Also initializes the iterator: Moves the current position to before the beginning of the data; a subsequent next call will find the first non-default position.
	createTuple	Creates an ITuple which can hold a position in this IDataView.
	flush	Flushes the buffered changes to this data; if possible, this will be performed in the background.
	getDouble	Returns the double value for the provided tuple position.
	getElement	Returns the IElement value for the provided tuple position.
	getIndexDomain	Returns a reference to the index domain on the provided dimension.
	getInt	Returns the int value for the provided tuple position.
	getString	Returns the String value for the provided tuple position.
	insert	Sets the given position to the specified value. If the specified position does not exist yet in the index domain(s), the index domain(s) will be extended.
	setValue	Sets the provided position to the value.
	setValues	Sets the values for the complete domain of the data, by passing all the values as a dense array.
	setValuesCMO	Sets the values for the complete domain of the data, by passing all the values as a dense array.
	tupleCompatible	Verifies that the dimension and underlying root sets of the ITuple are applicable on this IData. Only structure is validated; the values themselves are not considered.
	tupleValid	Verifies that the current values are valid in the domain of the IData.
	empty	Empties the data and resets all pending errors.
	close	Closes the reference and invalidates the object.

Public Properties

	Name	Description
	Cardinality	The current number of non-default values of the data.
	DataType	The DataType corresponding with the type of this instance of IData (IMultiDimData, ISetData or IScalarData).
	Dimension	The dimension of the data.
	Name	Returns the fully qualified name of the associated identifier in the model.
	ValueType	The ValueType of the data (double, int, IElement, String or boolean).
